Best known for its wireless headsets worn by NFL and NCAA Division I football coaches, Telex Communications, Inc. is scouting additional sports sponsorship opportunities to promote a new, less expensive product designed for smaller properties, primarily high schools. Telex, which has already signed new deals with roughly 10 state high school coaches associations, also is scouting sponsorship opportunities with small colleges and other properties that require hands-free wireless communications.
