- Customized solution provides an efficient and easily manageable system
- Connecting operation teams to ensure glitch-free performances
- An ideal intercom solution that is cost-efficient, flexible, and scalable
Communication is a key factor for a performance to run smoothly so the audience can be fully immersed in the experience. This is especially true when it comes to the performing arts. Excellent coordination and cooperation amongst staff members are critical factors to a successful performance.
Since its opening in 2012, Sohyang Arts Centre has become Busan’s newest and most technologically advanced performing arts and musical venue, hosting a steady stream of events. The Sohyang Arts Centre recognised the need for a clear and efficient communication system to streamline operations and execute glitch-free performances.
During the early stages of implementing the communication system, the Sohyang Arts Centre team envisioned an intercom system that would be flexible and through which they’d be able to easily reassign communication groups without the need for re-wiring.
With that goal in mind, Bosch focused on customizing a unique solution that would meet their needs. The proposal included four unique products: the RTS ZEUS III digital matrix system, DKP-16 CLD and DKP-8LK key panels, a SAP1626 source assign panel, and a BTR-700 wireless intercom system.
With the RTS solution installed, it was now easy to assign communication groups to different operation teams and link all the communication groups together when required, via the wireless intercom system.
The different functions of each component brought to life the ideal intercom system that Sohyang Arts Centre requested, working within their budget. Not only is the new intercom system more efficient, it easily switches from one communication group to another with top-notch audio quality, improving the running of operations during events tremendously.
